I’m going to be brutally honest: I dislike dentists. It’s been roughly 12 years since my last appointment, and I went into this very skeptical (and mostly because my wife made me). As expected, the news wasn’t pleasant and the work is expensive. Having said that, Dr. Handal’s explanation of my treatment plan was clear, fair, and aligned with my history. He has great bedside manner and the whole staff was a pleasure to deal with. Kerline RDH who did my cleaning was as good as I could expect. I even conversed extensively with two AI agents (Grok and Gemini) to scrutinize my invoice against my insurance coverage. I couldn’t find any wrongdoing or intentional up-charging. I’ve only had one visit so far, but they seem like honest people—which is really all I want from a medical professional."
